I'm hoping it was for a VERY good reason that you were up at 5 am on Saturday.
I was up that early too, but only because I accidently left my alarm on. I turned it off, rolled over, and went back to sleep!!
That Durl is pretty cute! Especially love the last pic with the hose. Your other photos are really great, also -- you've got a real talent. We visited one of the older cemeteries in New Orleans a few weeks ago -- some beautiful monuments there, as well. It would make a good photo-expedition for you. (And, of course, you'd have to start with breakfast at Cafe du Monde . . .)

I had a coughing spell at 5 am and initially I thought I wasn't going to get back to sleep. I also left my alarm on. I managed to get back to sleep but it was a rough night overall. Not very restful.
I think I'm going to shower, have some breakfast, and then head to beach. I'm feeling the need to move a little.

Enjoy the beach (I don't even need to mention sunscreen for you, I know)!

I have achieved my goal for the day. I got the last box of stuff shredded and now it's time to start putting everything where it belongs. I've just eaten a huge lunch (salad, cantaloupe, chicken) so I think I am going get stuff together and head to the beach for a few hours!

The trip to the beach went well. I probably should have gone a bit earlier. There was a bit of a cool breeze coming off the gulf by time I got there this afternoon.
Today was beautiful. Low Humidity. Clear Sky. Light Breeze. The gulf wasn't rough at all. I did a lot of swimming about and also a lot of floating. You can tell the pelicans are starting to come in for winter. I saw a HUGE flock floating about 300 yrds away and had several fly overs. It was pretty cool to watch them fly over.

Oh yeah, I went back to the Cemetary tonight too. Worked with the black and white settings on my camera, although I did take some color stuff as well.

Headstone Trio
Okay in the next two pictures, there was a main column surrounded by three "broken" pieces (Pictures 1). However, I'm not sure whether or not the upside down "Thy Will Be done" was intentional or not (Picture 2)
