tonight's been a wierd night but good night.
Bob and I had a bit of an argument and I had to take the cat to the vet. This is the first time in a while that we haven't been together on a friday night but that is okay. He's doing what he needs to do to stop smoking.
I was just sitting here thinking and I've realized that overall I'm in a pretty good place. I've been spending the last few months making sure I work on the things that I am passionate about around my regular job and it makes me feel good. I find that my creativity has opened up a lot.
I'm Visibly leaner than i was at this time last week. and I'm almost back down to where I was for my birthday last year and I still have a month til my birthday so who knows where I will be by the end of July. I'm also getting adept at working stuff into my diet. I've hit my zone and I'm not whacked by what I am doing. the good news is that I don't have to get out of bed in the morning so I'm just going to sleep in.

Yay on the 300 cal pizza (which looked good). This was key for me, finding a way to work in what I want, within calories I had. I think it keeps me a little more sane.

Nothing much new... just settling down from all the garbage of the last few months as you know. But getting back to normal. My workouts are fine... I'm in maintenance mode right now as my body seems to be pretty happy where I am. I'm good with that. Nichol is finally (mostly) potty trained so that makes life easier too! JB turns five in 2 weeks and I just can't believe it.

Drooling over your pizza... "Flat Out" is the brand? I'm desperately seeking a good healthy whole grain pizza dough. I haven't tried Wegmans or Whole Foods yet since they're farther away and I only go there when I have to, but the best I've been able to do at my local store is the WW Boboli which isn't all that exciting.

Oh, man, that pizza looks good! What's this "wrap" thing? Just a tortilla-like thing, about the same thinness? And did all of that protein come from the pepperoni?
I've gotta find a good pizza alternative. Gotta, gotta, gotta. Maybe I should dig out the toaster oven since I won't use the regular oven in the heat. A tortilla-thin "crust" would work fine in that.
LOVE the new avatar!!

Susan:
Yeah Flat Out is the brand. I've seen them at wal-mart, but I found these in the tortilla section of my local grocery store next to the South Beach Wraps. One thing I was thinking last night is that this would be good for kids and adults. The kids could "make" their own pizza with the stuff they like, and the adults could have their own pizza as well (although I think 1 wrap could be split between JB and Nichol.)
Diane:
Yes the Flat out is a wrap. No, some of the protein actually came from the wrap itself. The version i got is the Multi-grain made with flax. the nutrition on the back of the package says this:
Serving Size 1 flat bread (53G)
Calories: 100 From Fat 25
Fat 2.5 G
Carbs 15G
Protien 9 g
I did weigh my flatbread last night though and it was little heavier than 53 g. 59g instead.
I got up this morning, made my own version of an egg mcmuffin and then went back to bed. I just got up again. This time I am up for good.
Time for a shower.

Diane:
They say to be really careful about using these in a toaster oven. But I'm planning to use them over in Bob's Toaster oven tonight (if he's in the mood for company )

Bob is almost 48 hours into being cigarette free and moody as all get out. I am not going over there. Can you say really he's in a really ugly mood??
I thought you could.
I guess at some point this evening I'll go looking for a small tripod since I can't find my the plate that screws into my camera for the tripod I have.

I think since I'm free this evening my aerobic activity will be walking along the beach in galveston. That appeals to me a lot right now.

I just subbed to your eat blog the other day. Yum!
Have a good walk and try not to kill Bob. Quitting smoking is a tough row to hoe.
