I was kind of pleased when she said that my LBM was 161. THat means I probably don't have as far as I think to go. I just need to make sure that I preserve as much mass as possible.
Tomorrow's foods are put together. I left myself some wiggle room since I am finishing up some of the beef stir fry I made last week. ON the menu for tomorrow evening is chili.

Wow that is some serious Muscle Paula!
My BF on the scale is 50% My trainer with 3 point says it is 45%. I thought it was 39%. And the 7 point says it is 42.5%.
Sheesh gimme a tape measure! But it was real fun to think I had 157 lbs of muscle!
I am glad you do! I was thinking the same thing about not as far to go as I thought!

Official Change in diet. Last year when I was consistently working out and consistently eating the same calorie amount every day, I did better. right now I don't seem to do well with cycling (the lower calorie days are setting off binges). So my plan it to take the total calories in a week that I am eating based on the figures in NROL and dividing them by 7. So the overall Net Calories will be the same, but I won't have to cycle calories.

MMMMmmmm indian food....
Good idea on the cals. I have an awful time w cycling too.

Paula-
That is an awesome amount of lean mass! I know what you are saying about keeping it while dieting. I was encouraged by some of the studies Lou cites in NROL4W. I think the one study showed the people who did it the right way losing only 1 lb of muscle.

Okay. Here's my Plan for the next few weeks.
I have 5 workouts left in stage 1.
I'm skipping the AMRAP workouts and going directly to Stage 2. After I complete Stage 2, I'll take a week off. And start Stage 3 on March 31.

That's great. That's still my daily challenge. I do plan out my days--can't imagine otherwise!--but I keep wanting to slip in little things here and there. An extra scoop of yogurt, an extra tablespoon of peanuts...it adds up. I need to keep my nibbling at bay!
I think your idea of cutting out the calorie cycling is a good one to try and see how it goes. I think I might try that too. I want to eat more on the days after my weights routines, not on the days themselves.

I just did my last workout in Stage 1. (hooray!)
I will also go straight to stage 2 and skip the AMRAPs and then take a week off after stage 2. I dont' really want a rest week right now--I don't want to lose the momentum I've finally built.

Paula, nice to see you're back in action with a plan. I agree with you on calorie cycling--it drives me crazy and makes me feel crappy. You've got a great number for lean muscle mass!

Gawd.. the most boring day at work.... Moving data that should have been automated to go to certain folders in the first place. And since it's on sharepoint, it takes freaking forever!

Looking good Paula and those numbers are awesome! Your lean mass is rocking! I love your plan on the food, that was a BIG one for me to work out. I am hoping I have it now, we'll see.
Sounds like you have it all planned out! Keep up the good work!

Majorly grumpy here. Not sure what is up. AF isn't due for another couple of weeks by I'm crabby.
Spent some time last night working on getting things straightened up. I think that was a huge part of my crabbiness. Made some homemade pasta last night. Last night's batch was better than the first batch I made but still not quite right.
