thanks ginger!

had a another great PN workout today. I am maintaining my strength while in deficit, so that seems to be a good thing!

oh, and fun product alert. one of the things I am doing during this deficit is drinking 2 servings a day of branched chain amino acids. the product I have been using for a year is ICE (only one serving) the lemon. I put it in green tea. but it isn't really tasty.

I found a better product called Xtend. I have the grape. but I ordered the five flavor pack from bodybuilding.com. apple, lemon, watermelon, grape and orange.

I had two servings of the apple today! YUM! but it looks nuclear. bright neon green, sort of scary, but if it protects my muscle, I am ok with it!

I love Xtend! I have the watermelon and lemon flavors. I like to mix them together, for something different.

So, you are drinking this 2X a day? How much at each serving? Just curious. I don't drink mine on a regular basis, because I forget about it and it kind of fell off my radar.

Tell me more.

I drink 1 serving (2 scoops) before and during weight workouts. after weight workouts I drink another serving.

on running days I just have one serving, but when I get out of my calorie deficit, I won't use it on cardio days.

I think that BCAA are part of why I have put on muscle.

I'm soooo finicky with taste, but I'm going to try it. I think the grape or orange are probably the safest choices for me. I found it pretty cheap here:

I like that idea! Of course, I would need some assistance in uploading and all that, because I am quite tech challenged.

This sounds like such a cool idea! For now I can live vicariously through your liftings...lol... I'm almost caught up in here, quite a journey in this log!

thanks for stopping in sidonia! I am really happy with the progress that I have made in 8 months, especially the mental/emotional progress and the muscle building!

fat loss is in full swing this week, and so far so good! scale movement and everything.

I am going to pick up one of those cheapy throw away video recorders and post myself doing some DB presses.

Get one of those flip video recorders - I got one and like it a lot. Perfect for filming gym stuff.

Flip Video - it records an hour of video, which for gym purposes is probably plenty in most cases.

Here's a video I took using it.
