vickie, I am doing a more restricted plan than PN for the next 7 weeks, but PN is why I have gained 5 pounds of muscle in 9 weeks!!!! love it as a mainteance.
for fat loss, I am going on a structured calorie plan for now.
get in and get out ginger!! I am so ready.
tom (stingo) actually had me starting to think about it, in addition to you and jane and both y'all bad ass selves.

32 min of lifting today, dropped all of my weights--just trying to maintain muscle over the next 7 weeks.

It's all fake.
I'm really fair-skinned, have had several pre-cancerous/cancerous things removed from my skin, so no sun for me.  But, I'm a pro at fake tanning, much to my dermatologists delight (and Tina's, too, I am sure!)

Looking great Wendy and I am adding my well wishes for your upcoming deficit. Don't be too disappointed in the LBM that drops away with the pounds. I know that was a "killer" for me when I started my drop and I nearly freaked out. A lot of the LBM that you think you are gaining is water and other stuff it turns out so it will drop down quickly at first and then settle into more reasonable numbers.

tina,you will be happy to know that I am an avid sunscreen user. found this really cool roll on for the face that I love, and I use the hightest stuff for the bod. I tan anyway. I love being outside. I do get checked yearly for moles and stuff

karla, I appreciate the well wishes, and while I certainly agree that the scale losses these past 3 days are absolutely water and glycogen loss, I disagree with what you are saying. I get calipers professionally done each week--every week for the past 9 weeks by the same person, and while scale weight has stayed the same, my skin folds have all decreased, some substantially. my biceps, calves and shoulders have all increased in inches. so, no, I don't think that a LOT of my LBM is water and other stuff, and I don't THINK I am gaining, I KNOW I am gaining. and the reason is likely that the past 9 weeks are the first time ever in my life that I have followed a lifting plan that is 4 days a week, and much more intense than anything I have ever done. now my gains are surely BEGINNER GAINS, no doubt. and I realize they won't continue indefinitely, and they certainly aren't going continue during the next 7 weeks.
several professionals that I have worked with (including some body builders)have told me I have a tendency to gain muscle easily for a woman. so comparing your experience to my experience in this particular instance might not be a fair comparison.
