I really like the functionality of the 405--the way they do Heart rate is fun--like if you want to stay in zone 3, it tells you by decimal--like you are in zone 3.7, oops, you just went into 4.1, slow down, etc... fun!

this week is completely unstructured at PN--no exercise or whatever we want to do. I biked for an hour on a sidewalk along AIA (ocean). averaged 12.64 mph on my big ole hybrid tires with some heavy wind and an average heartrate of 105, so definite recovery workout. but it is fun to see aerobic capacity change as a result of weights and improved strength. fun!!!

hello!! I downloaded a 10k plan into trainingpeaks.com . it is a matt fitzgerald plan based on 10 different pace zones. you plug in a recent 5k or 10k time. the coolest part is that it downloads automatically into my new garmin.
I did my first run today, and the paces were spot on, even in this heat. I am really happy to have this new gadget!

The 405 sounds great. I got the 305 last Christmas, so I don't think the wife will allow me to get one anytime soon. Maybe when the 505 comes out! Glad the running is going good.

Sorry about the trees! The oaks are pretty, but the storms really do a number on them. We got lucky (so far) with the storm, just lots of small branches and spanish moss on the ground. A good opportunity for NEAT, I figure
Thanks again for the referral on the body fat testing. They are very nice there. I was happy with the results, especially after seeing Leigh's video
Love your new avatar!

Stay safe, Wendy. The facial sounds pretty darn wonderful.
