Stats day. I really tanked it this rest week somehow. I really don't get my metabolism right now. It is cooking so fast and hard. As soon as I embrace eating my metabolism responds by heating up. I am sad to see such a severe loss this week but part of that had to do with my being poisoned. On Sunday I actually weighed 117lbs and had 13. something bf so I know I was pretty dehydrated. It looks like I am back to normal and stabalized. Now to get back on track with tracking food and making sure that I am feeding correctly and stop eating out.

I wouldn't consider the readings from post-sickness to be accurate - you lost water-weight which messes up the scale and the bf% readings... see how things look next week.

But SHEESH I am jealous - wish I could eat tons, rest, and lose over 2#!!!

Whew... Today I was at 120.something lbs again and a new low of 11.4% bf. Things are trending in the right direction again!!! I have a problem with my appetite again though. I am having to force myself to eat. Don't know if it was from the poison or what but am simply not hungry even remotely. I am not taking any sort of pills or anything this time. Just not wanting to eat. I can tell this is going to be an issue in my upcoming long bulk. I still hate to eat.... Weird....

I did a LEG workout today in my new gym. I joined 24 hour from Bally in order to work with the bber trainer. It was a lot cheaper because my work pays for some of it. That said it is a lot crappier. Much more crowded and crappier equipment. Oh well, they had squat racks, etc.

In fact now that I think about it, the crowd was much more about lifting then anything else. That part was pretty cool There was this girl next to me squatting 155lbs while I was doing 145. This guy came up to us to comment that he had never seen that before. I had to admit I never squatted next to another girl who was lifting that heavy. She said she put on 155 because my 135 was imtimidating her. LOL! I stuck at 135 as planned because I want to get deep and keep good form and I still am not there yet with this weight.

Warmup squats
1x25 (bw)
1x15 (45lb)

Squats
5x10 (135lb)

Deadlifts
3x10 (135lb)

db step ups
1x12 (15)e
1x12 (20)e
1x12 (30)e

ab superset
v-ups
3x15
russian twists
3x12 (25lb)

building lunges
1x10

Glad the pounds recovered -- I thought it was just from being sick... I know you worry about it, but I still wish you could share some of that non-appetite with me!

LOL!! I tell you that this side of the coin is not any more pleasant than the other side. This is especially true when trying to slab on muscle. Do you know how hard that is? I think I am just not an eater in general. I am pretty sure this was a learned behavoir. That said I can never remember loving food or wanting to slow down enough to stop and eat on a regular basis. I do like going out to eat a good meal with a bunch of friends but other than that, eating is a pain in the ass. If I could pop a pill and have all be well for the day, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Today I was up to 120.x lbs and 12.9% bf so perhaps it is the case I am not eating in deficit now. Right now my weekly daily average is 1840 cals. I don't really know. My hunger mechanisms are SO screwed up. I wish I could just go by feel on this but we saw what happened last week when I went by "feel".

Learn to embrace the calorie counting. I like how Karen (who's doing PSMF) sees it: as one giant experiment on oneself.
