jane, even better, let's find an open water venue. swimming in open water is really fun and can be so empowering. I can still vividly recall how exhilirated I felt as I exited the 1/4 mile swim in the seven seas lagoon at disney during my first triathlon. I couldn't stop smiling!! I have returned to the danskin races a few times as a swim angel--we swim alongside nervous swimmers and talk them through to the finish. we swim with noodles to give people breaks if needed. I never ever ever thought I would be a swimmer. but then again, I had the most amazing coach ever.

Congrats on learning to swim. At the very least, you should be able to save your life if you fall overboard in a lake.

Way to go on the swimming - inspirational as usual

(I have found flat out wraps in my regular supermarket deli too - right near the meat/cheese counter. I really like Josephs Lavash bread and pitas - found in the same area.)

Major congrats on graduating for swim lessons. Not a small feat to learn how to swim as an adult. You did very well!
Are you going to take more swimming lessons?
