It's nice to see you back fully in the swing of things! I'm hoping to order both books (Max Strength & Power Training) within the next week or two. Being able to choose my own movements within a template (which means I won't screw it up LOL), sounds really good.

I am BEAT with a capital B! Had a garage sale today with my neighbor and it's so HOT and HUMID! In between all of that crap, I pruned my cherry trees from WAY up high and that was HARD work. I still have a bit more to do before the storms come in tonight. I can't believe I made it to the gym....I'm a sweaty mess!

Well, the garage sale is OVER! Whew, what a lot of work. Remind me to never do this again!! And, it was HOT and HUMID. Just blech!
Did a lot of NEAT this weekend -- heavy hard work, lifting, etc. So all is good there. Couldn't get in a workout (HIIT or weights) because I stabbed my big toe with a heavy and pointy curtain rod at the garage sale and it was pretty bad. Bleeding all over and it's a big gash. So, hoping it will be OK tomorrow to work out with.
My eats were good all weekend. It's so weird adding carbs back into my diet, but it's good. My macros are coming out to about 30/30/40 (F/C/P) with the protein being pretty much constant at 40 and the Fats/Carbs a couple percentages either way. I'm finding it easy to stay within my calorie goals, too. So, I'll keep at this a few weeks and see if I've chosen the correct calorie deficit to melt off these last few pounds!
Next week I will do weights M-W-S and fit in HIIT/cardio on off days when I choose. So far, I am loving Power Training and it seems like a good fit for me.
Oh, and I've been in contact with my breeder and she's definitely breeding Sophie's parents again (not sure when), so I am hopeful that it will be a time when I feel ready for another (Sophie's sister). It gives me something to look forward to and I've already picked out her name -- Violet.

I'm glad to hear you say that. I waited many years (almost 4) before replacing my cat. I say it that way because we've had many pets, but he was the first that loved me best. I didn't think any other cat could replace him, however, the two new kittens (now cats) brought such joy with them.

Trees? How many do you have? I would love to have a fruiting cherry tree in my yard.

Oh no, I wish they were fruit trees! They are weeping cherry trees. They blossom in the spring and then are just foliage after that. I have two of them and they get out of control, but are hard to prune because they are close to the house and roof.

Ya know Jane, I almost sent you a "Seeds of Life Memory Tree" oak sapling/seedling, but decided against it because it's easier to find space in the garden to plant flowers but not so for a tree in the yard, even when taking into account the scale of the real estate.
It sounds like you have plenty of trees already.

The toe is amazingly better after all that blood! Seems good! And, my workout didn't hurt it at all!
Windshield Wipers: Lie on your back and put your feet up in the air. Then you lower your legs together from side to side like a windshield wiper. I couldn't find a good video for you, but someone might pop in with one.

You've got some great workouts logged. So I guess you and I are venturing down the food tracking road at the same time. I am also enjoying it (in that weird way). It leaves no room for error and that has a calming effect on me.
So, did you make any moolah during your sale? I am a sucker for them and usually take one Saturday during the summer and head out early to see what treasures I can find. Did you sell some of the clothes you grew out of??

Well, I made $165! Woo hoo! So totally not worth it!
I gave away most of my old clothes and the rest went to Goodwill.
And you are right...it IS calming knowing EXACTLY what I've done each day. And, while my carbs are still on the low side, it's nice to be easing them back in.
