Hope you feel better soon, Jane.

(I share your dislike of the front squat push press, too.)

Well, I'm seeing the light at the end of the tunnel. At least I managed to get a shower this morning! I am weak and dehydrated....this, I know. So, the order of business today is to DRINK water. I think I can keep it down today. And, I've probably had about 300 calories in the last 3 days, so I MUST find something I can stomach food-wise today, as well.

I'm going to give myself and my stomach this week to recover before I think about TNT. Right now, I can't even think about meat. No way. No how. I may try to get in a protein shake, but that's it. I am going to eat whatever feels right until I am back to normal again.

No idea when I may try to workout again. I will play it by ear. I'm going to aim for mid-week, but we'll see.

My stomach sure is nice and flat this morning (for all the wrong reasons).

This virus sure through me for a loop. I can handle the chest and the congestion crap, but not the stomach crap.

Glad to hear you are at least on the mend, if not better. Take it easy - drink lots and get lots of rest!

Sounds like the flu! Yuck. Hope you're feeling better! Just rest, don't rush back. The workouts will be better if you do.

First pics of Sophie! She's only a few days old here. For size reference her head is about 1 inch.

She does kinda look like a hampster! hehehe, but while I'm not one for small dogs, I do like maltipoos, they're very cute! When do you get to take her home?

OK, this is just lovely. Here is what my diet looks like during this stomach virus I have succombed to the last 4 days. I am FINALLY feeling more normal and will head back to work tomorrow. Keep in mind, I am on TNT (well, I WAS on TNT!). I could only go with what my body wanted or could handle and this was it. Pretty sad.

Day 1: 3 crackers and 2 flat cokes and one glass water

Day 2: 10 crackers (approx) and 1 cup tea, 1/2 cup potato soup, 1 biscuit, and 20 oz water

Day 3: 2 cups tea and 2 pieces butter toast, 1/2 thing of Stouffers mac and cheese

Day 4: (today) 2 cups tea, 2 pieces butter toast, 1/2 thing of Stouffers mac and cheese (so far).

How pathetic -- wouldn't that look pretty in Fitday! My appetite is not there at all yet. I have lost weight (obviously) and you know it ain't fat that was lost, most likely. This sucks so bad!

I'm going to try to muscle down a protein shake yet tonight, but the thought turns my stomach right now. Hopefully, tomorrow, I can get turned around nutritionally and, in turn, get back to the gym.

Holy moses!!! I hope you get better soon. The one thing I am learning in my "bulking" phase is that 1 or 2 off days doesn't really hurt you too much. When you finally do come back take it very slowly and feed your body very well and you'll make it all back up very quickly.

If it gives you a mental backlash, try 1/4 at a time every 2 hours.

You poor thing. No wonder you are so weak. Go easy on the shake and I hope you are able to start taking in some real nutrients, soon.
