I don't understand? Are you referring to TNT?

Forget that. I want to know where she's buying the self-control to be 100% on eats! (Said as I sit hunched over my giant pile of dinner...)

Here it is, Diane! I hate to count calories....hate it! I hate to track every little thing. So, that is why I prefer to do TNT or low carb/carb cycling. If I know that all I need to do is limit my carbs and I can eat until I am satisfied protein/fat, then I am good. AND, when I limit carbs, my cravings disappear. Especially sugar....no desire. Now, having said that, at some point, I want carbs and my body needs carbs, so cycling those days and times carefully works well for me, and again I don't really need to be so anal about counting every morsel. So, I'll continue with TNT as long as it works for me! As for cheating, I have a cheat meal planned for Feb 15 -- my mom's 75th birthday and I will have dinner and cake!

I plan to reevaluate at the first of each month and tweak, if necessary. So, for month one, I was very low carb (plan A) and now I am moving on to a plan that allows some strategically placed carbs and we will see how that goes.

Oh, man, I think I'd die if I couldn't have my giant Jethro bowls of veggies at most meals! Still, I've added TNT to my wishlist at Amazon to buy when the next wad o' cash falls in my lap. Maybe I can at least pick up a few helpful ideas to incorporate.

Diane, I can have ALL the non-starchy veggies I want. Today, I had tons of tomatoes and broccoli -- my staples. I also eat a lot of peppers. Basically, my day consists of meat and veggies and fat.

Breakfast - scrambled eggs with red peppers, onion, cheese and sausage patty
Snack - string cheese and almonds
Lunch - Low carb meatballs and salad w/onions, tomatoes, walnuts, balsamic vinaigrette
Pre and post protein shake
Dinner - Chicken, broccoli w/cheese, and cherry tomatoes

That's my day so far...

Ooooooh! Now you're talking my language!! Dang. I could stick 100% to that without a whole lot of angst. Um, except for my occasional veggie pizza (and I can hold off on that just fine if I know there's a set day at some point in the future). Okay, gotta see if I can scrounge up the pennies for the book ASAP. Thanks for the clarification!!

Yes! It really is easy! Actually, if you go to TNT 101 - Where do I begin? - Topic Powered by eve community you can get a really detailed excerpt of the plan that tells you all you need to know -- all the different plans, etc.! And, you can always ask questions here...there's quite a few of us on TNT. But, the book is really good! Some of the internal links at the link I just gave you don't work, but you can get the gist of it!

If you buy the book you'll get the TNT compliant recipes and the information much more conveniently packaged. The site on Men's Health is here.

Pleasant surprise of the day: Had my clothes all laid out this morning for work and at the last minute had to rearrange the outfit. Why? Pants too big!

Tonight is my 7th B workout.....will check in later.

You keep this up and you'll need to post a new avatar pic.
