It was an OK day. The running was PT related...which was fairly gay. If you're in charge of leading a group of people through exercise, please show a little originality. Boring = bad

Afrigginmen. I thought you were the PT leader, though....?
Lucky me--we had a wing PT day (yes, the entire wing. Can you say "stupid idea"?), but the dumbasses didn't give us enough notice to reschedule our patients, so.... we were not in attendance.
Idiots.

I stopped being UFPM when the SrE stopped supporting the program. Now I just lead every other Friday.
Our general made it mandatory for 1 wing session a week and 1 base session a month. Not just military, civilians, too. 3k people gathered up for organized PT. That lasted 1 month until they figured out that there was just no way to do it. Craziness.

Sandbag lift x 15 @ 150lbs
Notes:
In a perfect world it would have been shouldered. In my world, not so much. Interesting workout.

7 x 3min rounds shadow boxing (boxing style)
Notes:
Lots of sweat. Actually did a warm up AND stretched afterwards. That's an accomplishment in and of itself

Thursday
30min Shadow Boxing (Thai)
Friday
30min Submission Grappling
Notes:
I have a little bit of a hip strain. It started off a little sore and as the day ran on became "wow" kind of painful. Fortunately after I got home I loaded up on some anti-inflammatory's (for those of you playing at home 800mg motrin aka. "default medication given to Air Force members regardless of injury type or severity". No I didn't go to the doc, I just have like 200 pills in the cabinet) and it seems to be back under control. It should be good to go by Monday.
I *think* part of my problem with that has been a considerable more focus on flexibility on my part lately. My hips and shoulders are considerably more mobile (clasping fingers between shoulders and "almost" full squat with planted heels w\ no counter balance). The flexibility improvements without a chance to really get stable at that position yet might be making for a little more injury prone existence. Such is life.

Pretty much everything I do is stolen from someone smarter than me. If it's on this log then it was probably stolen from someone else.
It's been hard for me to really get on the wagon for the past couple of months. I don't really have a solid interest in anything. I've already ran as far as I'll ever run. The DL last year was good enough for me for big weight. I've gotten the 2x BW Squat and Dead. I've maxed my PT test. Running fast means everything else takes a shit. The upcoming move is like a phantom floating around in the back of my mind. It's not a big deal, just a constant thought.

Bad Elbow It's coming around I think. On the bright side I don't think I've really lost anything through my slacker stage here. Nothing that 2-3 months of dedicated training couldn't bring back anyway.
Today
Biking
4x4min
3x30sec
Circuit x 5
5x Dragon Flag
6x Saxon Side Bend (8lbs MB)
15x Superman
8x MB twist (8lbs)
Plank\Bridge on head for time (not very much, but for time none the less)
