A massage sounds great.

Okay, so the iPod has a stopwatch, but it's not an interval timer. So, unlike my watch, it doesn't beep every 30 seconds to tell you to stop doing burpees and start doing jumping jacks. This means I can continue to hate timed workouts. Excellent.

It's self massage so it's not all that cool. Keeps me in the game though.

I shudder to think what you do with that thing.

Nice workouts. I gave that up for Lent.

I don't know what the exact combination of factors were but there were about 4 pretty good heaves. You could see little cheese bits from the milk I drank before I went out. After that it was great...finished my last round and felt good.

Sorry about the puke, but let me give a bump regarding the stick. My chin ups had to stop from forearm pain until someone at the summit, said deep muscle work. That kind of stuff is expensive. So he suggested The Stick, I got the more expensive package (a little over a hundred - price of two massage sessions?), mostly just work on forearm. Chin ups improving (see log), and no pain in forearms - which had been long standing, back to teen years.

Hmm a C note would cover 5 half hour massage sessions with the masseuse that I use. In fact I just had one today - it's a chair massage, so it's all upper body, but it feels really good.
