I'm interested in trying out the increase muscle and fat loss programme - I'm just wondering how heavy should I be lifting to make sure I get some results.
I have to do my resistance training at home as my gym is poorly equipt. I have a barbell and dumbells and about 70lbs worth of plates. I've just finished doing phase 1 of HGM using 35lb barbell or 25lb dumbells. Both where a bit of a struggle.
I'd think that you'd get results as long as the weight you're using continues to be a struggle. As you become stronger, your body will adapt and you'll need to increase the weight.
