Default BBB question

Newb here and my 1st post on the forum!

Just getting seriously into strength training after completing the Abs Diet and getting to a decent starting weight (5'11", 178 lbs). First many thanks to Chad for putting together these no-nonsense programs that seem simple to understand!

I am starting BBB and have a question about the routine. Unless I missed something I didn't catch this in the book or the T-Nation article and search didn't help either. Is the program designed for all excersises to be done in straight sets or should the antogonistic pairings (ie upper body) be done as super sets?

TIA for any help!

In the book where Chad has an exercise written then another under it, it means straight sets. ie
BB bench press
db rear delt raises

but if a letter and number is in front of the exercises then they are done in a superset eg
A1 bench press
A2 db rear delt raise
B1 pullups
B2 calf raises

Glad you enjoyed BBB it was one of my favourites.

And just tonight my neighbor sweetly asked me, "You're so thin... do you eat?" Thanks, lady.

I didn't have the heart to tell her I've been working on hypertrophy for three months, between NROL and MR.

I'm 6'3" and 200 lbs, so I guess I still have farther to go. On to ABBH next week!

You'll enjoy ABBH, RL. It's one of my faves. I've now done ABBH, BBB and just on to TBT. I really enjoy Chad's programs.

Tang, welcome to the board. You've found a great community here.

As Chad and others have mentioned, your nutrition program accounts for roughly 80% of your training/physique goals so check your caloric and macronutrient levels if you're too thin, fat, etc.

I'm 6'4 @ 207-lbs and just finished a cutting program. Now it's on to adding the LBM.
