Default Jump Rope

With the muscle fibre type graph you have in the book jump is at the extreme end of FF fibre usage. Is jumping rope a "jump" exercise or don't you jump high enought to recruit those FF fibres, and are things like plyometrics high FF exercises?

Until your book I never thought about the speed of the movement and the fibre recuitment. Thanks for opening my eyes.

Jump rope depending on the speed will work either fast or slow or both. Think about your sister leasurly jump roping down the street, then think or having your toes hit the ground as many times as possible in 20 seconds.
