Default Replacement for leg curls in WM

Are there any sort of replacements for leg curls in Waterbury Method? I'm trying to stay away from machines in the gym as they are always hogged by people.

I know I could do natural GHR, but I am not strong enough yet to lift my own weight.

swiss ball curl or plate drag would be the more obvious ones, you could probably get by with single leg hypers or single leg strait deadlifts

I'd be careful adding something like stiff leg deads as they are farely neurologically intense and leg curls are used more as an axillary exercise.

Hopefully Chad will set you straight.
