Default Question for those of you doing ABBH

Just curious as to which schedule eveyone is using:
1) workout ever other day, or
2) workout two consecutive days; followed by one day rest; followed by workout two consecutive days; etc.

Just did my first ABBH workout yesterday; have never done anything like it before and *really* like it.

I'm going to try doing two consecutive workouts, unless it's too intense.

I've done it. I did it four per week. Two on, one off, two on, two off, repeat.

I would do it the way Chad calls it out to be done. His programs are very well thought out, and should not be changed if the plan is to follow his other programs in the future. They all build off one another.

Newlife:
That's what i initially thought also, before coming across this T-Nation post from Chad in response to the same question:

many trainees have altered the ABBH schedule to better fit their lifestyle. You could merely drop one of the rest days and perform two workouts on consecutive days, but don't perform three workouts in a row without a rest day.

I'm considering following the original one-day-off-between-workouts schedule and using the off days for a brief HIIT session since i'm trying to lose fat.

you can do it either way. I'm going to do the one on, one off thing just as a matter of convenience for myself. but you could, if you wanted to, make it a two on, one off. . . rest on the weekend type program.

the only time I think I'll double up is when I won't be able to make it on the scheduled day.

Gobbla, Deserve, and I all did the routine at the same time. Some did every other day, some did four days a week. We each kicked each other's asses.

I recommend that you do all programs as written in the book. Trust me, there's a reason for everything you see in MR. There are indeed some slight differences in MR - differences that I feel are more beneficial to readers, after receiving tons of feedback over the years.
