I know what you mean! I actually just finished up BBB this past Tuesday and it is a good straight to the point workout. Either tomorrow or Monday I'll start the pain that is called ABBH. . . . Bring it on!

I just finished week 2. It didn't look like much when I read it but it sure felt like something when I did it.

AGREED. . . . the workouts are deceiving in a way, but if you do them with the proper intensity you're feeling it the next day. . . . in a good way!

No doubt! If you follow the rest time and weight percentages you are in for a ride. I even went out and bought a stop watch to make sure we were in the 60 second rest cycle. (Probably looked like a dork to the rest of the arm curling lemmings but to hell with them.) My brother and I could barely move I am sore in all the right places and the funny thing is I consider myself an advanced lifter (8 years of lifting steady). That 60 seconds of rest sure flys by quick.

when doing the 8x3's just wait until you reach 50s rest periods.

Great to hear. The fact that you bought a stopwatch is very important. I can't stress how imperative it is to follow the set/reps/rest periods as prescribed. The load is secondary. Always adjust the load to allow you to reach the other parameters.

Glad to know I'm not the only one getting stared at. I can't remember how many times people have asked why I'm always watching the clock or checking my watch. Most think it's because I'm hoping my workout is over. Many say they've never thought about rests between sets -- I guess it would cut into their social time!

Most of the guys at my gym do a set talk for about 5 minutes do another set rinse and repeat. I dont even bother with wondering what or why most of them are doing what they doing anymore.
