in other posts people say weight gainer isnt good.. so why do you say for us to use it? is this only for people who are underweight? if so, im going to buy it. im 5'11 and weight 135-140.
also, you say a lot of rest is required. well, how many days a week should i work out? im planning on doing 2 days, then 1 day off.. or should i go 3 days and 1 day off?

like i had mentioned, i wrote this years ago. at that time i was still using commercial weight gain products. now i understand they're not worth it. too much sugar, we can do better with better choices.
the gimmick now is not to count the maltodextrin in the product towards the sugar. so even though malto is listed first, the label will only say like 6 grams of sugar. so what is malto?
Technically, maltodextrin is a complex carbohydrate. However, maltodextrin has a very high glycemic index, which means that it raises blood sugar levels very quickly. Because maltodextrin isn't classed as a simple sugar, the products can claim to be a "low sugar" meal. Technically, this is true. But when you consider the effect that maltodextrin has on blood sugar levels, the "low sugar" claim has little relevance.
i admit they got me then but i know better now.
as for how many days it depends on you and what you can handle. me and many others i've helped started out with only 2 days of full body workouts each week with 2 days of rest in between. as we gained more experience, we would go to lifting every other day with one day of rest in b/w.
