A high carb & total calorie intake will influence cholesterol levels much more negatively than eating eggs do.
I used to hit 11 a day (4 whole & 7 egg whites), but have done the math and came to the shocking conclusion that chicken boobs are cheaper than egg whites.. throwing out yolks raises their costs by a huge extent if you're recalculating towards costs per 100g of protein (as a macro). So nowadays it's often just the breakfast omelette (2 WE+2 EW) & chicken for lunch..
