I will echo Aoife and suggest that if you have fond memories of these things that were planted in your mind sometime before the age of 12, it's best to not go back and watch them.
I made that mistake with the Dukes when Spike re-ran them a few years back, and let me just say, it's better enjoyed with an underdeveloped frontal lobe, or possibly drunk.
