Hi martista or meg! (which do you prefer)? Thought I'd pop over and subscribe. I used to ride horses long long ago, but never had one of my own. Lots of dogs, though (and cats and sheep and two chickens).
Glad to hear the ab work is helping your back. I think other core strengthening exercises will help too, like planks, supermen, etc. A couple of years ago I had months of bad lower back spasms. I couldn't even put my portable CD player belt on without triggering spasms, and forget about wearing a backpack. I also have a disk injury somewhere in the middle of the spine from a boating incident 20 yrs ago. The core work I've been doing has alleviated all of my problems 99.9%. So keep at it!!! P.S. veggies are great, aren't they?
