Yes, I did MVP. I actually asked the group if one of them was "MVP" and they looked at me like I was crazy.
It was not a good experience. I hate to say it, but I don't have a positive opinion about the study materials--inconsistent and in some cases poorly written--and the test itself. I do not feel that the material prepared us for the test; some of it was ridiculously easy, other parts seemed to be deliberately misleading or obfuscatory. Some of the questions--for instance "your client is complaining about her feet making loud slapping noises on the treadmill, what exercise would you give her?" were interesting but a little bizarre--I did not feel that the charts on muscle functions would necessarily prepare us for a question like that. All in all a big disappointment, and most importantly, whether I passed the test or not, I don't feel very confident about going into training with the self study prep.
The worst part was that it was not clear that when you take the "live" test the results take 6-8 weeks, but the computerized one is immediate. I sent them an email imploring them to make that clearer on the website but they have not bothered to reply to me.
Ugh. Can you tell I'm irritated?
