your ankle pain could be coming from something else. there is a reason why your ankle is hurting. Treating the area will not solve the problem either. if your ankle is hurting because your abdominal wall is dysfunctional which could very well be the case. then treating the ankle is not going to do anything until you fix the reason thats causing your ankle to hurt. Just think of it this way when you throw a ball and your toe is not in the correct position this will affect your hand. thats how the body works. whats your daily routine and workout routine and hows your posture?
