Howdy!!!
I've been missing everyone from LP's flzine and was gone for most of the spring and summer. Now I'm home for a bit, and feel happy to check in! How's everyone doin'?
weight 161.5 (new low for me in a really long time---at least 5 years or so---had been staying at 163 for last 6 weeks or so, but not really working my program so at least the weight didin't climb.)
BP 127/84 this is a relief because it's been REALLY high. I was a bit scared there for a bit--but I've added and cut back and cut out some more things in my diet. I think it's been working!
sleep :10 hours, and it felt great! The back is still messed up, so I wake up more often, but eh, whatever.
stress is 9 of 10 right now, but it can't be helped. Just have to move through it.
fatigue: 2--feel pretty good!; finishing up early today and getting ready to hike up the hills when I'm done here.
pulse: 66. not too bad for not being able to do any cardio training.
I've been making some progress figuring out how to work with my back injury...(herniated disk, L4-L5 compression) It's true necessity is the mother of invention. even though I HATE crunches, I'm actually starting to see some results from the ab work!!! whahooooooo. The hill climbing has been great for my glutes, and really does make a difference in my pain management. The dogs of course, just love all the trail work we get to do. As long as I keep all the supplements going, take the cal-mag powder, do the ab work and stretching, climbing up those hills is actully becoming a pleasure. I've even discovered some new ones right outside my door! Who knew?
Also--got back in the tack with my horses this week. Can't really do all that much "training" or "conditioning" on them, but it's been really nice to just climb up and enjoy the ride. That says a lot too, because I went from not being able to ride at all, to already riding 3 days this week. I think the secret's in the ab work!!!
Anway, just thought I'd check in..
sonics: anything at all by the crystal method
I'd LOVE to break the 159 mark by the end of next week!
