Whoops, didn't realize this thread existed. Xposting from the major GWF thread since I guess this is more appropriate here.

So my GWF appears to have fried itself after a failed attempt to upgrade the firmware this morning. First its green lights never turned off despite being disconnected from the USB, and then it couldn't detect that it was on my arm. Finally got the lights to turn off by holding down the armband button, but it's still unresponsive. I've gotten error messages on 3 computers when trying to upload data and upgrade the firmware, saying it's not in a USB port. And it still can't detect being placed on my arm.
Waiting to hear back from customer support.

Reading through the thread it sounds like if I could just get the firmware to install, I'd probably be good to go. But seeing as the software can't even detect it when my GWF is plugged into the USB (not an issue w/ my computer, as it still registers that there is hardware plugged into the USB, and I highly doubt three computers would have USB problems) I'm at a loss.
Still waiting on customer support. I've had my GWF over three months, but since I committed to the service for one year, I feel like that should count as a "warranty" on my armband.
ETA: I wouldn't think being undercharged is an issue, as I recharge it daily while I'm in the shower. But I guess I can also leave it plugged in for several hours (brought it with me to work to try uploading from work computer) and see if that helps.
