the only protien powder I've found so far is in a huge container for 21$, I would like to try something smaller.
I'll be on the look-out for Accelorade though.
I don't use a hydration pack.. but have been thinking about getting one, though I never do races. But I can actually take my waterbottle and drink from it without stopping..
I don't think I'd put it in the water though.. I'd carry a smaller bottle of it do dose it as i want, and not to be afraid of drinking to many calories in my water. Weight is not a problem for my hikes.. but they might be for xc-skiing this winter. And on skiing I drink much less than hiking.. so I might use it as you say.
