as far as I understand you're really only going to keep about a 2month max window. it depends on genetics and length\conditioning of the individual as far as time and just "how" shit hot they were.
you look at about a week to adjust to diet changes, another three give or take to actually really "adapt" fully to those changes.
keeping in mind that diet and general activity level of a person can sway that quite a bit. one persons "normal everyday activity" vs anothers can be vastly different.
