So, which book would help me out?
Or are there cd-roms out there? I've seen a German one , which actually had a combination of both: demonstration of lifts (even in 2 planes if not mistaken) and suggested routines for all levels.
i'm not an OL expert by any means, but i found Jim Schmitz's dvd/book combo pretty helpful. It's really lo-fi, but there is a lot of information there for a beginner, and enough programming to last you a long time. It's available over at Ironmind.

I'm pretty sure I remember Manny doing this program over at Men's Health years and years ago too, but i may be mistaken.
