Yeah, I've read the same thing. However, the idea is that it denatures it, making it less available to your body quickly. Protein doesn't become something else simply because you heat it. Otherwise all the meat, eggs, etc. would be useless as well. So I don't think it's a big deal unless you're using it for PWO shakes.
