I like OldGuys post. Aside from all the nutritional info, I find that I dont get satiated as well from shakes.
When I have my mid morning and afternoon snacks as Casein shakes, I dont feel satisfied for very long. This typically leads to some sort of benge in the afternoon. Albeit the benge is normally peanuts or turkey slices, I still eat something I havent "planned" to eat.
EMartin10 said the first thing that came to my head. When I drink lots of protein shakes, really tears my gut up. I feel bad for people walking behind me. Haha..
Logistically, if you are taking in more than 3 shakes, you are cutting out a lot of solid food. This gets wicked old, hella quick.
I look at protein shakes as a supplement, not a food group.
