Thanks for posting that link. The article really resonated with me on so many levels. I recently had to take a full week off from training all together and two weeks out of the pool due to illness (yeah, yeah, I know). I've increased my weights since the break and really enjoyed getting back in the pool.

Rest is critical. When I overtrain, I reach a breaking point... and get sick or injured.
