I think cardio is overrated. If I'm dieting, then for the most part, I'd just rather eat a little less.
For heart health, aggressive lifting/exercise should cut it without the need for all the extra cardio.
I like to do just enough cardio to be able to keep up with my kids and friends if we decide to play a sport or something. I'm not running any 10Ks on the spur of the moment.
