I will say this definitively: there will never been any Elvis-esque MJ sightings years after his death. You can't mistake that level of freakishness, no one wants to impersonate that level of freakishness, and even if they did, no one would hire them to play their bar mitzvah. Can you imagine two or more people talking about their hobbies or even jobs, and one guy says, "yeah, I'm a Michael Jackson impersonator"? Instant conversation killer.
That said, Thriller was my first cassette tape. I also saw a comment saying, "So Michael Jackson died. The white one. The black died years ago." Just saying.
