Whey protein and any protein is an excellent source of protein. Yet, everyone forgets that any type of protein powder (casein/whey/soy etc) is great for conveince. That is the major benefit of protein powders/supplements. It seems like now-a-days protein after a workout can only come from one of the most processed sources of protein. What is wrong with a piece of turkey/chicken, or a glass of chocolate milk?? If it is due to convience that you want to start using protein supplements, then that is a great reason.
