Nice one.
I can tell you that I've done better with more breaks or deloads. I train a lot less than I used to.
I do schedule backoff weeks, but since they seem to come on their own because of work, trips, kids, etc., it seems I almost never have to take the calendarized breaks.
I'm actually staying leaner than ever doing far less activity than before. G-Flux works both ways. Workout less, eat less, and stay/get lean.
