Part of your sleep time is recorded on the previous day. From when you went to bed to midnight. The rest is recorded on the current day from midnight until you got up. It should show you when you were lying down as opposed to sleeping. It does not seem to record the lightest stage of sleep and counts that as lying down.
Another way to tell is to look at your calories burned for that time period. If you were not in a true sleep your calorie burn is probably over 1 cal a minute for that time period.
As for your calories burned - the 442 is for the period of midnight the current day until you down loaded the arm band. 2730 is for the previous day midnight to midnight. So, no, you burned roughly 2730 cals for a 24 hour period and should not ad the 442 cals into this number.
The 189 steps it recorded is the number of steps you took after midnight when you fed the baby plus any steps you took after waking but before you uploaded the arm band.
As for sleep - it probably is acurate. Most of us are unaware how poorly we sleep. It is quite possible that you are not sleeping as well as you thought. The GWF shows that I was "lying down" and not truly sleeping 10 seperate times last night. But I only recall being awake once. I have also discovered that I sleep walk. No joke! The gowear says I was "awake" for 10 or 15 minutes and that I took 40 or 50 steps. But I will have no recollection at all. Interesting no?
