Default Changing weights

Hey everyone I'm doing the NROL break-in and I was wondering if this was wrong to do. Like I first start out doing a heavy weight when doing my first set of squats but then when it comes to the second set I have to lower the weight in order for me to complete all the reps. Is this alright to do.
