I am confused too, but I have been counting L+R as one rep which is absolute killer when you have to do 25 reps! But I did notice in the text that sometimes there is an * with a note instructing to do each leg as one rep, and sometimes not like in Hyp. II But when you have to do only 3 reps, it seems weird to only do L+R+L so I did each leg 3x
