I typically run my Polar F11 Heart Rate Monitor (HRM) for 2 hours - begin when I get ready for the gym, end when I jump in the shower afterwards. It says I burn between 600-650 calories during the workouts, so if I take the average and multiply to account for the Polar HRM overestimating by 30%, that is 625 x .7 = 438 calories. Not bad!
