Have you become more daring
as a result of your NROL4W training?
With our road trip plans turned up on end, K & I find ourselves making some last minute vacation plans that include (as usual) paddling and camping.
Generally, mother nature kicks my ass and I just keep going back for more - but this year BOTH of us are in better shape thanks to starting this program. There will be much hiking, kayaking and exploring the west coast - I'm looking forward to discovering how my body handles it in comparison to our kayaking trip last year.
I was wondering if any of the posters here took up new recreational activities that would have send them scuttling for the sidelines a year ago. For me, the options are opening up: With pull ups comes the possibility of rock climbing. Longer portages. Whitewater canoeing. Mountain biking in the Rockies.
