I eat between 150 to 200g of carbs a day, it feels fine for me. Whole wheat carbs may help you to feel full longer than more processed carbs though, and they may contain more nutrients as well. Carbs seem to be a very personal thing, though. I bought into the low carb thing for a while, but it just made me dizzy, and carbs make me feel happy and active
