When you don't eat for a long time and then start eating you have tremndous cravings, usually for fat and carbs. Your hormones are all jacked up and wanting you to keep doing what you are doing. That is why I always tell people who say they are never hungry to enjoy it while it lasts because when it kicks in, its insanely strong.

The best thing to do is to make sure the intake you do get is consitant and rich in nutrients. Make sure the vitamins, etc are covered well.

I would also, and this isn't dogmatic, set up more specific meal times if you haven't already. Ghrelin operates on a timer and gets used to eating at certain times. If you keep to a schedule and don't deviate, you should get less cravings overall.
