Hi all...
I am a yo-yo'er to the extreme. Had gastric lap band surgery in 2003 (after reaching 236 lbs at 5'2" - highest weight during pregnancy was 287)...
Went down to 126 in 6 months through "forced starvation" (doctor's term, not mine) and running on the treadmill 67 minutes a day/6 days a week.
Stabilized at around 136 or so. Lap band slipped in 2007, and had to be removed in July 2008 due to it causing me to vomit everything, including blood - really, it was lovely.
So since last July I have gained 40 lbs. I still exercise, I do Jillian Michaels No More Trouble Zones and Burn Fat/Boost Metabolism, as well as Zumba Cardio Party.
Food...whether I eat good or bad, I don't really see a difference. If I go to about 1100 calories, I can start to lose, but feel horrible.
Anyone else have any experience with this?
I really wish I could make a counter-commercial to all those lap band commercials to tell the other side of the story.
Thanks for any help you can offer.
