I think everyone's body functions a little differently - some people can handle eating all carbs all day, not me! I get bloated and quickly gain weight. I feel more satisfied and energetic with more protein. I think your macro breakdown is fine - it's not drastically different from what the book suggest. I mean it's not like you are asking if you should eat 60c/20p/20f. You are definitely going to get enough protein on your ratios as long as you eat enough calories. I say go for it!
