Are you ingesting carbs? If you are, which in fruits you surely are, then you should be counting them. The veggies are for sure part of your macro breakdown.

I personally count everything that I eat in my macro content. I don't really see why you wouldn't.

Maybe they are trying to get people to eat more veggies, and are in turn saying don't count them in your calorie count. I could see some obsessive people cutting veggies since it will put them over their caloric intake for the day. Might work, but I would rather know exactly what I'm eating. Just my 2 cents.
