I am lucky enough to have small and large towels supplied at my gym. I use a small towel as a wash cloth and use a hydrating body wash. When I used bar soap I liked the Dove Exfolating bar and when I was done drying of I would use my towel to dry my soap off as well as the travel container I kept it in. Final option buy your bar soap at Costco or Sam's Club and don't worry about wasting a little.
