I have used an online trainer before and loved it. It was great. As a trainer I had never been on that side before so it was a great learning experience.
I've never been the trainer in that situation but from what I experienced I decided not to offer it as a service myself. I felt very comfortable with the form on all of the exercises, but any new person could really mess themselves up. Even with a video a trainee is not looking it at it the way a trainer would. I think you would have to offer so much in the way of info that it could be overwhelming for someone with little experience.
Offering it as a service for clients that you've already seen might be a good idea though. You could think of them having to do x number of sessions to be "qualified" by you to follow the program correctly.
As a service to my existing clients I am cataloging all of the exercises I use with some key points for them to remember. It's helpful for people that I give homework too.
Good luck.
