Row 5000M Time 21:11

Tonight's time 1 damn second slower than my best 5000. Didn't weigh after the weekend's debauchery. Back on the scale tomorrow.

I need to test one of those out to see how they would work with my prothesis.
I tried it with one leg and it works. If you can find one on Craig's List I have a truck.

I may try to build up some distance after rugby season.
Cool. I played about 10 seasons. I had to quit to avoid certain alcohalism.....God it was fun. Enjoy.

Good luck reaching your goal Bill. The C2 Erg is a fantastic machine; keep up with your training and you will see fantastic results.

To fight boredom, I would recommend alternating work. If I sit down and set myself up to do 10k, I'll likely break down at 5 or 6. If I sit down for a pyramid workout, or 4x12 min with active rest in between, I'll finish with more than 11 or 12 and not even think about it.

Make sure you log your rows in the C2 logbook too. You can then join virtual teams and your data will be pulled in to their databases so you can track your mileage against other members, join challenges, etc. Pretty cool extra motivation. (I'm part of www.freespiritsrowing.com, but there are many others.)
Thanks for looking in and the good advice. I'm honored to be the recipient of your very first post. Any advice is appreciated.
